The third and final instalment of FUNharmonics, a series of family concerts performed by the London Philharmonic Orchestra and inspired by Roald Dahl’s Dirty Beasts poems, The Toad and the Snail transports listeners across the Channel on the back of a giant toad. The story is brought to life with live music written by Benjamin Wallfisch, alongside some of France’s most famous tunes.

Alongside the main concert, your little ones can try out an array of instruments among an assortment of free workshops taking place around the Southbank Centre. A perfectly-pitched family day out.

Sunday 26 October. Concert 12-1pm; Activities 10am-2pm
Royal Festival Hall; Tickets from £5; southbankcentre.co.uk
