Tune in below to hear Motherland founder and editor Charlotte Philby in conversation with paediatrician Dr Sasha Howard and breastfeeding specialist Geraldine Miskin, exploring the science behind the ‘Breast is Best’ message; as well as the social pressures and anxieties that surround breast and bottle-feeding – and the impact these have on new mothers.

Dr Sasha Howard is a paediatrician within the NHS specialising in endocrinology. She is also a mother-of-two, and co-author of Guilt-free Bottle Feeding: Why your formula-fed baby can be happy, healthy and smart.

Geraldine Miskin is a breastfeeding specialist, who has been practising in the UK for more than 20 years. She is creator of the ‘Miskin Method’ and her book Breastfeeding Made Easy will be published in September.
