It’s called the Udderbelly Festival. This will explain the huge purple inflatable cow lying upside down on the Southbank later this week. Really – huge. It’s actually the roof for a tent, within which will be a brilliant selection of comedy, masterful children’s shows, and a circus. Make sure to scour the extensive programme: this year is the festival’s seventh, and an impressive list of performers are booked to do a stint. You may also be interested to learn that the festival will contain one of London’s largest bars. Just FYI.
