Meow Meow is a completely irreverent and provocatively intelligent performer who can sing shockingly well, dissolve audiences into hilarity, and generate rave reviews across the board. This is a Christmas cabaret show like nothing you’ll see elsewhere. It’s called Apocalypse Now: Crisis is born, for a start. Check website for a long list of delighted theatre critics. “Imagine a cross between Lady Gaga, Edith Piaf and Charlie Chaplin and you’re still not getting close to the unique magic of Meow,” said The Evening Standard. “A voice like honey-ed cream studded with razor blades,” was the verdict from The Guardian. Meow Meow sounds like our kind of girl.
16 – 29 December at the Purcell Room, Queen Elizabeth Hall, London. Tickets £19. Suitable for ages 14+.
