Head to Mintfest in Kendal, Bournemouth on 30 and 31 August where Clunk will be addressing “the lack of outdoor work for the under-fives”, with a dance-theatre ‘mini gig’ based on the less-than-obvious theme of the work of early 20th-century Russian surrealist poet and writer Daniil Kharm. “Boris wants to write a new song – a song that has never existed before – but Sonya and Masha think there has been a song written about everything in the world ever…” What ensues is an inclusive show in which three actor-musicians enlist the help of the audience to write a new song, and perform an outdoor, theatrical mini-gig full of trombones, trumpets and saxophones.
