The good folk behind our favourite kids magazine Okido have been hard at work, pulling together the second edition of their marvellous hardback book series. Published next month, How Things Work addresses questions from ‘what is light and where does it comes from?’ to ‘can you ride a bicycle made of wool?’ Beautifully illustrated in large format, combining stories, games, facts and activities, it is also a useful parental resource. Not least if, like us, you find yourself endlessly faced with questions to which you have no answer.
How Things Work, £12.95, is published by Thames and Hudson
